Food Services
Baldwin Family Soup Kitchen-This program provides a well-balanced meal to 300-350 people, five days a week, every week of the year. In 2007, 45,071 meals were served
Homeless Breakfast and Shower Program - Approximately 35 men and women receive a nutritious breakfast and the chance to take a hot shower, Monday-Friday 7:00-7:30 a.m. In 2007, 8,771 meals were served
Holiday Food Distribution - During Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter, 300 needy families receive a food “basket” (637 families were served in 2007). Each basket provides enough food to feed a family of four for two weeks.
Food Recovery - In cooperation with area food markets, local farmers, and restaurants, volunteers pick up day old breads, baked goods and other fresh and prepared food items for distribution and use it at the center.
